School Food Service Program
Each of our three cafeterias (Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle\High) serve state accredited hot lunches. And we’re not just lunch anymore! Breakfast is also available to all students prior to the start of the school day. Updated Menus are located in the File Library of the Student Section.  A schedule of meal prices for the current School Year is available below:

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Walton-Verona Wellness Committee
Walton-Verona School district promotes stakeholder participation in the development, implementation, review and modification of the District Wellness policy.

The next Walton-Verona Wellness Committee will meet to review/ evaluate nutrition and physical activities in the district and schools. Parents, students, and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend and participate.

Free and Reduced Price Meals
Free and Reduced meals are available for eligible students. Eligibility for free or reduced meals is determined by economic need - based on gross family income and the number of persons in the family.  Information on Free and Reduced applications is confidential and is not disclosed to teachers, staff, or other students.  

Recent improvements using the PIN number register system and the ability to pre-pay for lunches (declining balance-similar to a debit/gift card) also can help to keep your information private.  We encourage all families who are in need or think that they may qualify to fill out the application; some students may automatically qualify if receiving other forms of state assistance (SNAP, K-TAP, etc.).

An information packet that includes a notification letter, instructions, and the application for free/reduced price lunch are given to each student upon enrollment each year
The free and reduced application can be completed at any point throughout the school year
Benefits cannot begin until the application is completed and approved - get them in as soon as possible for maximum benefits
Applications can also be resubmitted should there be a change in status during the course of the year.
